The 5 questions most feared by men are:

-What are you thinking about?
-Do you love me?
-Do I look fat in this?
-Do you think she is prettier than me?
-What would you do if I died?

What makes these questions so difficult is that every one is guaranteed to explode into a major argument if the man answers incorrectly (i.e., tells the truth). Therefore, as a public service, each question is analysed below, along with possible responses.

Question # 1: What are you thinking about?

The proper answer to this, of course, is: "I'm sorry if I've been pensive, dear. I was just reflecting on what a warm, wonderful, thoughtful, caring, intelligent woman you are, and how lucky I am to have met you." This response obviously bears no resemblance to the true answer, which most likely is one of the following:

-Footall
-Golf
-How fat you are
-How much prettier she is than you
-How I would spend the insurance money if you died

Perhaps the best response to this question was offered by Al Bundy, who once told Peg, "If I wanted you to know what I was thinking, I would be talking to you!"

Question # 2: Do you love me?

The proper response is: "YES!" or, if you feel a more detailed answer is in order, "Yes, dear."

Inappropriate responses include:

-Oh, yeah, sh@*-loads
-Would it make you feel better if I said yes?
-That depends on what you mean by love
-Does it matter?
-Who, me?

PC World has the full scoop on a smartphone / portable media player that's set to take on Apple's upcoming iPhone, the Samsung UpStage M620. This device has some rather unique features and an innovative design that's sure to spur some discussion.

"Unveiled in January at the Consumer Electronics Show, the UpStage is a candy bar-style handset that's less than half an inch thick and not much taller or wider than an iPod Nano. While other multimedia-friendly cell phones struggle to balance the sometimes-conflicting requirements of a conventional handset and a music or video player, the UpStage solves this quandary by putting phone functions on one side of the device and multimedia functions on the other."

For the short term, the UpStage looks to be a Sprint / Nextel only device, but that could change in time.

Yahoo! vs Google

In yet another attempt to steal users back from Google, Yahoo has announced that it will begin offering unlimited e-mail storage for free later this spring.

Yahoo upped its e-mail capacity from 100 MB to 1 GB two years ago. That's more than enough for most users, but it still falls short of Google's Gmail, which has steadily increased its capacity to reach more than 2.5 GB.

Yahoo will increase its capacity again this May, marking itself as the first major e-mail provider to offer unlimited Web storage for free. The initial rollout will begin with the 10th anniversary of Yahoo, which first appeared online in May 1997.

Current Yahoo! Mail users will be the first to have access to the infinite inbox capacity, which will take several weeks to complete. "As much as we’d like to just flip a switch and “unlimit” everyone on the same day, we’ll be rolling this out over a few months to facilitate a smooth transition."

Federer out after Canas defeat

Roger Federer suffered his second defeat in as many weeks to Guillermo Canas as the Argentinean won 7-6 (7-2) 2-6 7-6 (7-5) to reach the quarter-finals of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.

Canas became the first player of the year to defeat the world number one in the Indian Wells tournament in California that precedes this event when he won 7-5 6-2.

Federer came back well to claim the second set after going one down, but some strong returning and solid serving from Canas saw him fight back from 3-1 down in the final set to force a tie-break and claim the win in a tense finale.

While naturally disappointed with the defeat, Federer had no complaints with his own performance.

The 25-year-old said: "I was in total control for almost all the match, and once I broke back in the first set, I was really happy with my level of play. I thought it was a great match, so it was disappointing to lose, of course.

"He's (Canas) a great competitor. He scrambles back so many balls and doesn't miss much, and then he moves the ball around very well. He really improved his backhand, his serve. They weren't that good a couple years ago, so that just tightened up his game a lot.

"I guess he played well against me both times, and I couldn't put him away unfortunately," Federer added on atptennis.com.

Federer lost to only two players during the whole of last year - to world number two Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray - and though he showed glimpses of his best form, Canas was not to be denied an impressive victory and a meeting with Tommy Robredo in the last eight.
